Pay for your return shipping in advance!

If you are shipping your guitar for service, please note the following policies.

1. When you ship your guitar, please pay for return shipping in advance. This saves us time and you money (see #2.)

2. All return shipments that have to be arranged by Chicago Fret Works will incur $30 in handling fees (not including actual shipping cost.)

3. Email or call us to let us know we should be expecting your shipment.

4. ALL international shipments must be arranged and paid for by customer. CFW will not arrange international shipping.

1. Ship guitar inside a case (hardshell, if possible.)

2. Pack case inside a carton that allows an inch of packing material on all sides. (Ask your local guitar shop if they have an extra one!)

3. Loosen strings slightly and make sure the guitar is not moving about inside the case.

4. Insure the shipment for the replacement value of the guitar.
